Welcome to The Civil Celebrant.  My name is Simone Walsh, a family and funeral celebrant based in Co. Dublin, Ireland.

What I do: I perform civil ceremonies, that is baby naming ceremonies, weddings, vow renewals, funerals, and memorial services.

What is a civil ceremony? A civil ceremony is not based on any religion or faith. The ceremony is created just for you.  It can be held in any location and involve as many or as little people as you would like. You are welcome to include prayers or hymns in the ceremony, but I am not able to perform any sacraments or similar religious rituals.

I will answer any questions you might have and then arrange to meet with you and go through all the elements of the ceremony.  Each ceremony I create is bespoke and made just for you or your loved one.

Please note: I only book a limited number of weddings and baby naming ceremonies a year, and only ever one a day.  This is so I can devote myself completely to you and your ceremony.
